Nigerian music sensation David Adedeji Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, is rumored to have welcomed twins with his wife, Chioma Rowland, in the United States on Tuesday, October 10, 2023.
The news was shared by Evangelist Gospel Agochukwu on Tuesday morning via a chat with Davido, which he uploaded to the official Facebook page of his church.
Although Davido and Chioma have not made an official announcement, social media is abuzz with congratulatory messages pouring in.
Davido and Chioma have been together since their time in university. They were classmates in high school but did not cross paths until 2013 when they attended the same university. They met through a mutual friend.
Their relationship started as friends and blossomed into a romantic one in 2015. They kept their relationship private until 2017 when they publicly confirmed their love.
Davido chose a creative way to introduce Chioma to the world by writing a song dedicated to her and featuring her in the music video titled "Assurance."
Chioma is Davido's third baby mama and the mother of his first son among his four children.
In February 2021, reports surfaced about an alleged split between Davido and Chioma. The rumored breakup was sparked by photos of Davido with Instagram model Yafai during a Caribbean holiday. However, the singer remained silent on the matter.
The couple had planned to wed in July 2020, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the wedding was postponed.
