Nigerian songstress Temilade Openiyi known professionally as
Tems, has over the past few days faced heavy backlash for stepping out in a
Lever Couture gown at 2023 Oscars.
The “ Crazy Tings” song architecture’s dress had a contoured
hood that obstructed some of the guests behind her at the festival.
One viewer of the show blatantly joked on Twitter that whoever seated behind the
27-year old singer was heated for the obstructed view.
Meanwhile, the 2023
Oscar nominee, Tems has laughed off the critics through multiple social media
posts and has asked her loyalists not to be shaken by the barks of the haters who
according to her, are intimidated by her success.
