Nigerian-global songstress, Tems is expected to be awarded
another iconic plaque by Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for
her song ‘Highier’.
According to chart news website, Chart Data ‘Higher’ has
surpassed five hundred thousand sales landmark in US and that’s make it automatically
eligible to get the RIAA plaque.
The song is taken from her 2020 Extended Playlist (EP), ‘Broken
Ears’ which contains another RIAA gold plaque decorated song, ‘Free Mind’.
Tems rose to global
musician status after she got featured in Wizkid’s Billboard Hot 100 debut
single, ‘Essence’ and has since then
maintain her international patronage with
some epic songs including being featured in ‘Wait For U’ a song by
Future and Dreezy.
