Nigerian Afro-Beats musician, David Adeleke, celebrated by the stage name Davido, has announced March 2023 as the date of his album release.
The singer who graced last year’s FIFA
World Cup with an epic performance along with Aisha and Trinidad Cardona, tweeted
soon after his closing ceremony performance hinting on a new album release.
In the tweet, the superstar used an emoji of a music track while
promising his loyalists to anticipate his return.
He tweeted, "See y'all in March"
Davido has been off social media since the tragic passing on of
his son, Ifeanyi in November, 2022.
The ‘Jowo’ hit maker, however, communicated with his fans for
the first time ahead of the performance in Qatar.
Davido shared the announcemnt to Instagram where it accumulated over 1.6
million likes which made him to become the first artist from Nigeria with most
likes on the platform. It is clear that his fans are excited to have him back.
