Kemo Mballow was declared dead on the scene on Saturday after being knocked down by a speeding ambulance along the Coastal Road.
His sister Fatou Baldeh revealed: "I called him on Thursday to come and fix my TV, but he said he was busy. He promised to come on Saturday to assist me."
She continued: "On Saturday morning, I called him to find out if he was coming. He said he was on his way. While I was waiting, my sister called and said Kemo was hit by an ambulance. I couldn't believe it. They said the driver was in a hurry and speeding. There was no patient inside.
"Kemo died on the spot. The ambulance driver was not arrested for reasons we don't know. Kemo will be buried today at 2pm."
