Barely a week after being assassinated, Migos rapper, Takeoff has gained 1 million new Instagram followers.
Before being slained the rapper’s account had 7.7 million followers, a figure which overwhelmingly jumped to 8.7 million, a week after his murder.
At the time of publishing this article, Takeoff’s Instagram account saw many new followers trickling in.
Takeoff, 28, died in the early hours of Tuesday morning, 01 November 2022 outside a Houston bowling alley.
Authorities revealed that the shooting took place after a private party had ended at 810 Billiards & Bowling, as a group of about 40 people gathered near the front door on the third level.
An altercation took place and shots were fired. Takeoff was killed on the spot.
Police are still trying to track down the person responsible for the rapper’s death.
