One of Meta owned apps, WhatsApp is being updated with a new feature that will see users be unable to take screenshots from the filtered conversations.
App's new feature will help users to have more control on privacy over how their information is shared.
The new feature will make it impossible for recipients to screenshot a picture or video that comes with a "view once" filter.
Meta has also announced that the next updated version of the app will have options to switch accounts through out different social networking sites that are under the company.
It is also believed that in the near future, the app will develop detection feature that will be sending notifications if the information that is sent is being shared through screenshots.
Over the past years, some social media outlets like Facebook, Twitter and TikTok have been under heavy criticism for not respecting users' privacy.
