New military leaders in Burkina Faso have announced the successful coup that has seen Paul-Henri Sandaogo Damiba removed from the presidency seat.
The coup happened just after a year since president Paul-Henri Sandaogo Damiba himself ascended to presidency through similar coup.
The military leaders have announced about the dismissal of the president on Friday and have since then suspended constitution and dissolved government.
They have announced Captain Ibrahim Traore as new Burkina Faso president.
Soon after series of gunshots inside the State House, the military leaders announced that former president, Compaore is returning to the country.
