Former Mamelodi Sundowns, Supersport United and Al Ahly coach Pitso Mosimane reacted to a photo of former South African footballer and current assistant coach at Old Trafford Benni MacCathy and Manchester United superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo.
The two were captured soon after a game against premier league table leaders arsenal, in which United came out victorious with excitement written all over their faces.
"Ahhh! Is this not beautiful for SA football?," Mosimane posted on Twitter.
The post provoked mixed reactions, some went even further to suggest that the most decorated Africa football coach, Pitso, must consider landing a job in English Premier League club.
Benni MacCathy was recruited as strikers' manager at Manchester United by Erik ten Hag and his impact is already being noticed as strikers like Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial are rediscovering side of nets. That has fuelled the hopes for South African football fans.
Currently Bournemouth and Brighton and Hove Albion football clubs have no permanent managers. South Africans believe Pitso Mosimane can get a job and deliver at one of these clubs.
