A second-time winner of the African Player of the Year award for 2022 Sadio Mane of Senegal and Bayern Munich.
Edouard Mendy of Chelsea and Mohamed Salah of Liverpool were both beaten out for the African Player of the Year accolade at the CAF Awards ceremony on Thursday in Rabat by Mane.
The 2022 African Women's Player of the Year is Asisat Oshaola of Nigeria and Barcelona, while Evelyn Badu of Ghana took home the Inter-Club Player of the Year and the Young Player of the Year prizes.

Mamelodi Sundowns won "club of the year" for women (South Africa).
Wydad Athletic Club, a club of the year (men) (Morocco).
Evelyn Badu (Ghana & Sekondi Hasaacas Ladies/Alvaldsnes) was named the female interclub player of the year.
Mohamed El Shenawy won Interclub player of the Year for men (Egypt & Al Ahly).
Year's Top Goal: Pape Ousmane Sakho (Senegal & Simba).
