Including a first look at Michaela Coel's part in the eagerly awaited movie, Marvel Studios has unveiled the first trailer for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
A little more than a year ago, the cast of the acclaimed drama series I May Destroy You was revealed, sparking considerable rumour about which comic book character she would be playing.
A fleeting sight of Coel in action, with blue armour and a lighting blade, is included in the new video, which was unveiled at Marvel Studios' crowded San Diego Comic-Con panel.
Aneka, a member of the Wakandan military's Dora Milaje, has been identified as her character; some have claimed that she might be a member of the Midnight Angels strike force unit.
Several characters were seen lamenting the loss of T'Challa (the late Chadwick Boseman), and Namor (Narcos: Mexico's Tenoch Huerta) of the Atlanteans was introduced as a new threat in the moving trailer. Coel's MCU debut was one of many memorable moments.

The teaser contains very little dialogue; Ramonda, played by Angela Bassett, is the only character to speak. She fervently asks, "I am the queen of the most powerful nation in the world and my entire family is gone—have I not given everything?".
Some fans have speculated that this could be a flashback to the time after Infinity War when Shuri and her brother T'Challa were both alive. This is because Ramonda's daughter, Shuri (Letitia Wright), continues to play a significant role in this movie which was taken by Thanos.
Riri Williams, a young tech whiz who later transforms into the armoured superhero known as Ironheart, is also introduced in the teaser by Dominique Thorne (soon to be the subject of a Disney Plus series).
